Services

Based in Worsley, Salford, we specialise in providing comprehensive diagnostic assessments for dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) for children and young people aged 8-16. In addition to dyslexia assessments, our services also include specialist tuition, cognitive assessments and therapeutic interventions through Drawing and Talking.

Natalie is a highly qualified specialist tutor and assessor, bringing a blend of both personal and professional insight to her work. She has worked across mainstream schools as well as within her local authority, supporting children and young people with a wide range of learning needs.

At the heart of our services is a commitment to understanding each child as an individual, recognising their unique strengths and challenges. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, tailored support that empowers children, families and schools to better understand learning profiles and take confident next steps.

Why Flourish Dyslexia?

Personalised, Child-Centred Approach
We believe that every child is unique. Our assessments and support are tailored to each individual, focusing not only on areas of difficulty but also on recognising and celebrating strengths. We work alongside families and schools to create clear, meaningful next steps.

Expertise You Can Trust
Our lead specialist, Natalie, is a fully qualified specialist tutor and assessor, holding an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) and registered as an SpLD assessor. As a proud member of PATOSS, Natalie brings both professional expertise and lived experience to every assessment. Our diagnostic reports meet the required standards for SASC, JCQ and DSA applications, providing clear evidence to support access to appropriate support in higher education.

Comprehensive Services in One Place
From diagnostic assessments for dyslexia and SpLDs to specialist tuition, cognitive profiling and therapeutic interventions like Drawing and Talking, we provide a range of services designed to support the whole child.

Compassionate and Neuro-Affirming
We are committed to using neuro-affirming, strength-based approaches. Our aim is to empower children and families by providing understanding and reassurance, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.

Clear Guidance and Practical Support
We don’t just provide reports - we offer clear, actionable advice that families and schools can use straight away. Our support extends beyond the assessment, helping you to feel confident in the next steps.

Playing with Letters

It’s estimated that around 1 in 10 people have dyslexia, though many go undiagnosed

No two individuals with dyslexia are the same

A formal diagnosis can help secure additional support at school and in exams, and our reports meet the criteria for DSA in higher education

Undiagnosed dyslexia can lead to frustration and low self-esteem

Many individuals with dyslexia have exceptional talents in areas such as creative thinking, design, visual-spatial reasoning and entrepreneurship

Dyslexia can also impact working memory, processing speed, organisation and sequencing

If you have concerns, early assessment and intervention can prevent challenges from escalating and make a positive impact right away

People with dyslexia are just as capable as their peers
